8/27/11, NYS Fair Old Timers Show
Submitted by CAFinNY on November 15, 2011 - 10:11pmThe NYS Fair is almost 2 weeks long, & the rabbits stay the duration. The show is usually held on Saturday & Sunday, but since Hurricane Irene was expected on Sunday, all the rabbits were judged on Saturday, & cavies were judged on Sunday.
Mary’s American chin Jr Buck (#F2LI3) won Best of Breed!
FR Tender Trap (FSB7) won Best of Variety for Lilac MiniRex.
All the rabbits were sold by the end of the show, so no pictures were taken.

FR FMR2 won BOSV (Lilac Sr Doe) in both shows at 1 year old.
FR Benjamin (F2CC3) won BOV (Lilack Sr Buck) in Show A at 2 years 9 months old.
FR FXB6 won BOV (Lilac Sr Buck) in Show B at 1 year 10 months old.
Young’s Indiana Thornton (HY861) won BIC (American chin Sr Buck) in Show B at 1 year 7 months old.

5/27/11 FR Lola (FC1) had 7 of Young's Indiana Thornton's kits
Submitted by CAFinNY on June 22, 2011 - 6:08pmOne of these has a problem with it's eye. The pupil is not centered in the iris, & it looks like he's crosseyed.
Took a buck (F2LI3) and the Doe (FLI6) to the NY State Fair. The Buck won BOB, the doe was DQ'd because of mismatched toenails. The pair was sold to Margaret Burdick.
8/21 Took the cross-eyed buck to the processor.
10/9 Sold F2LI2 & F2LI5 at King's auction. F2LI2 was the smallest buck in the litter, & F2LI5 did the worst at the shows.
